C. PRIVACY POLICY

We respect your privacy. Any personal information that you provide on the Website will be used and safeguarded as described below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@leapambassadors.org .

1. What Information is Collected and How We Use It

We collect personally identifiable information (PII) whenever you 1) contact us via a form on our website (including, but not limited to), Contact Us or Stay In Touch and/or 2) when you communicate directly with us via email. When you contact us and provide personally-identifying information, you are explicitly giving us permission to use that information for the purposes of responding to/answering your inquiry, and to provide information about our programs and activities/initiatives via occasional email updates. We will not use that information for any other purpose without your consent.

Cookies

We also use a feature called a “cookie” to assign a unique, anonymous identifier to your computer when you visit the site. Any information collected is used in analytics software to assess website performance, and allows us to identify problems or improve our services and Website content. This data does not enable us to identify and track individual users. Additionally, we cannot use “cookies” to retrieve personal information about you from your computer.

For example, we may share a subset of our list with another organization that works to assist courageous leaders building high-performance organizations. All such sharing is subject to strict confidentiality agreements and is limited to sites that the Leap of Reason Ambassadors Community reasonably believes have their own secure privacy practices.

Upon request, we provide site visitors with access to all information, including proprietary information that we maintain about them. Users can access this information by emailing us at info@leapambassadors.org, and may request that we modify or remove any personal information. We reserve the right to verify identity when complying with such requests. If you feel that this site is not following its stated information policy, you may contact us at info@leapambassadors.org.

We recognize that your privacy is important to you, and, therefore, we employ technical security measures that endeavor to protect information from outside threats. However, National Council of Nonprofits, its affiliates and its service providers do not represent, warrant, or guarantee that personal information will be protected against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alterations and do not accept any liability for personal information submitted to them nor for your or third parties’ use or misuse of personal information.

The Leap of Reason Ambassadors Community Website uses a secure data transmission protocol to protect the privacy and integrity of any information submitted via one of our web forms.
