Dr. Dina Wilderson is the Director of Learning & Evidence at REDF where she leads their measurement and evaluation strategy. She deepens the organization’s culture of learning and continuous improvement through thought partnership that elevates actionable insights from data and supports program and leadership teams to make evidence-informed decisions. The Learning & Evidence team also bolsters the evidence base for employment social enterprises to promote sound public policy decisions and drive greater investments to the field. Dr. Wilderson has devoted her career to increasing access to opportunities for those who have been systemically excluded and is passionate about the role of employment social enterprises in the creation of more equitable and economically just communities.
For over 20 years, Dr Wilderson has been helping mission-driven organizations measure and understand their impact through the development of sound performance management practices and the incorporation of evaluation and data-driven decision making into everyday business practices. Previously, she served as the Learning and Impact Officer at YouthCare Seattle, where she developed the organization’s first-ever Learning and Impact Department to enhance program evaluation and performance management activities. Dina also served as Chief of Research and Evaluation at Larkin Street Youth Services in San Francisco. For over a decade, she led the youth-serving organization’s program evaluation, performance management, knowledge dissemination, and advocacy activities. She received her BA from Macalester College and her PhD from Syracuse University.
