Amy Main Morgenstern brings over 35 years of diverse experiences in the nonprofit, public and private sectors to Main Stream Enterprises, which she established in 1990 to help foundations, direct service agencies, and schools and universities achieve greater organizational impact. Her roles on all sides of the table as a staff person, board member and officer, foundation director, political and strategic adviser, and guest lecturer contribute to Amy’s insights and counsel about how leaders, organizations and their boards can be most effective.
Long active in volunteer leadership positions, Amy currently serves on the Board of the Treu-Mart Fund and served on the KIPP Bay Area School Board as Chair of the Governance Committee. Prior to co-locating to San Francisco, Amy was Treasurer and Co-Chair of the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation’s Grants Committee, an Executive Committee member of the philanthropic sector’s Fund for Our Economic Future, and a panel review member of the Cleveland Foundation’s Innovation Lab. In 1999 Amy created and co-led the first Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s successful biennial Sing Out event for which she was honored in 2004. She also received the Human Relations Distinguished Leadership Award from The American Jewish Committee.
Amy received her MBA and MSSA from Case Western Reserve University.
