Jo Rice is the former CEO & Co-Founder of Resurgo, a UK based non-profit. Drawing on her executive coaching experience, Jo authored and delivered the first Spear Programmes at Resurgo, supporting unemployed young people aged 16-24 seeking to overcome multiple barriers to employment. Spear is now recognised as the most effective employability programme in the UK.

Jo is committed to the importance and power of coaching and impact management in effecting social change. In her final years at Resurgo she established their consultancy serving a wide range of sectors from financial services to public relations to non-profits. This work has been focused on supporting organisations building strong organisational culture and meaningful programmes for social change.

Jo left Resurgo in 2023 after 21 years and is now supporting other organisations on a consultancy basis. She is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coaching, is a Non-executive Director of asset management fund Findlay Park LLP, and is a trustee of International Justice Mission UK.
