Hope is a former partner with Camber Collective, a strategic advisory firm that operates at the intersection of customer insights and strategy. Hope’s professional focus is on improving philanthropic and development effectiveness, and she has a passion for shaping policy and programming to meet human needs. Hope’s work has been cited in numerous media outlets, including The Economist and the New York Times, and she has been profiled by Fast Company.

Prior to Camber, Hope was a strategy consultant with Marakon Associates, a boutique strategy consultancy. At Marakon, Hope advised senior executives of Fortune 500 healthcare, hospitality, and retail companies on growth strategy. Before that, Hope worked in international development, supporting a $270M loan and grant portfolio in health, HIV prevention, social protection, and rural development at the World Bank. Earlier in her career, Hope ran a field office for the International Rescue Committee in Burundi, worked for the Chief Economist of the World Bank, and is proud to have served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon. She holds a joint Master’s in Public Affairs/Urban and Regional Planning from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and a BA in Public Policy from Pomona College, from which she graduated with distinction in major. Hope lives in San Francisco with her husband, Eric, and their baby daughter, Maribel.
