Cynthia Bailie is Director of Philanthropy, Technology, Identity, and Communication for the United Church of Christ. Previoulsy she was executive director of the Veale Foundation, a private foundation located in Pepper Pike, Ohio that makes grants with special focus on education, engineering, and entrepreneurship. Prior to that, Ms. Bailie worked with the Foundation Center, most recently as director of the Cleveland office and special information initiatives. Ms. Bailie has extensive experience in philanthropy and the development of information and programmatic assets for delivery both in-person and virtually with audiences worldwide. Her many accomplishments include directing the development of the Foundation Center’s award-winning web site, GrantSpace.org . Having dedicated her professional life to working on-the-ground in Northeast Ohio, Ms. Bailie is at her best when leading networked teams of creative thinkers and driven doers.
