Tess Reynolds is CEO of New Door Ventures, a $7M nonprofit providing employment and education to disconnected youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Under her leadership, New Door has grown more than threefold, and now serves about 500 youth annually and provides over 250 jobs through its two social enterprises and 90+ business partners. Over 90% of its graduates remain connected to next jobs and/or further education after exiting the program. New Door is recognized as a leader in its field that’s committed to data-driven learning and continuous performance improvement; it has received the Bank of America Neighborhood Builder’s Award and a Google Impact award, among others.

Prior to New Door, Tess spent nearly 20 years in the technology industry, where she is best known for having co-created the first presentation software, Harvard Graphics. She has worked as a business unit general manager, vice president of marketing, principal of her own management consulting firm, and director on several nonprofit boards. Tess is an immigrant from the Philippines where she earned her B.A. in Economics-Honors. She has an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and has completed executive programs at Stanford’s GSB, Cal Tech, and Harvard Business School.
